Due to hurracane Ike, we were unable to hold the retreat
as planned on September 12-13, 2008. We are rescheduling our second annual Bluebonnet Area Spiritual
Retreat called O Rest in the Lord to be held on January 9-10, 2009. It will be held at the Disciples Oaks
Retreat Center near Gonzales, Texas. Our theme for this retreat is Sabbath Rest and we will focus on spiritual practices
such as centering prayer and journaling. Other opportunities for group led sessions may include prayer beads, the prayer
labyrinth, guided meditations or other spiritual practices. A registration form is available by clicking registration

primarily for members of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Bluebonnet Area of the Southwest Region, it is
open to anyone who would like to spend some quality time with the Lord in Sabbath Rest. Cost for the retreat is $50.00
for both days (includes one night's lodging and three meals, dinner Friday, breakfast and lunch Saturday) or $30.00
