Here's what's happening with
Chalice Dove!

Our most recent event was a workshop about prayer beads
held at Hill Country Christian Church in Spring Branch, Texas. During the workshop we learned about the Protestant Prayer
Beads, made a set for each person present and then spent time using the beads for intercessory prayer. These beads are
a great tool for spiritual enrichment and are available through Chalice Dove for a $10.00 donation to our ministry.

We are very excited about our upcoming spiritual retreat
originally scheduled for September 12 & 13, 2008 but rescheduled because of hurracane Ike. It will now be held
on January 9-10, 2009 at the Disciple Oaks Retreat Center near Gonzales, Texas. Although primarily offered to the
members of the Bluebonnet Area churches of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Southwest, we would be happy
